Network Folders

You are encouraged to store any important Capital University Law School related files in your network folder. Network folders are located on the file server. The file server undergoes a full backup (ie. all files are backed up) every friday night. It undergoes a differential backup (ie. all files that have changed or been created since the last full backup) every monday, tuesday, wednesday and thursday night. This means that if your important file is lost or corrupted and it was stored on the file server we may be able to restore it.

The Differential backups are each kept for one week. The full backups are kept for from four weeks to twelve months. Depending on when your file was first saved on the network this could allow us to go back as far as approximately 1 year to restore a file.

Note about Storage Space:
Storage space on the file server is finite. Please store only Capital University Law School related files in your network folder.
