PRINTING

Each student is permitted to print 1000 pages on the PC Lab printers free of charge during the academic year. After that the student is charged $0.15 per page. If the student reaches a negative balance of -667 ($100.05) his or her printing privilages are revoked until the balance is paid in full.

	Every page printed to the Main Lab Printer (HP LaserJet 5SI) deducts one page from the students print account.
	Every page printed to the Resume Printer (HP LaserJet 5M) deducts three pages from the students print account. This is because the Resume Printer is equipped with resume paper.

The IT Department uses A.N.D Technologies PCounter to manage print accounts. Each PC in the PC Lab includes a tool called Wbalance. Its icon appears in the system tray (lower right corner) as a black dollar sign. To check his or her print balance, a student can logon to any PC in the PC Lab and double-click this icon. The student also receives a banner sheet providing his or her print balance each time he or she prints to one of the PC Lab printers. This banner sheet is not included in the page count and is therefore not deducted from the student's print balance.
