The Military Law Society (MLS) was formed to advance awareness within
the law school community of military law and national security issues.
To that end, the MLS serves to inform students of various legal opportunities
in all branches of the military; to build social ties between Capital
University Law School, the local community, and the Armed Forces; and,
to foster alumni networking. We support the troops by sending CARE packages
to deployed personnel, and by providing aid to the Military Wives Association.
We are also involved in the Toys for Tots drive.
There are no prerequisites for membership. Prior military experience
is NOT required. The MLS is open to any individual in the Capital University
Law School community interested in supporting the men and women of our
nation’s Armed Forces.
We are more than a student organization; we are a community.
