The Federalist
Society at Capital University Law School is an organization of
conservatives and libertarians concerned with the state of the law.
The Society is founded upon the principles that government exists to
preserve individual freedom, including economic liberties; that the
separation of governmental powers is central to the Constitution of
the United States; and that it is emphatically the province and duty
of the judiciary to say what the law is, not what the law should be.
The Society seeks both to promote an awareness of these principles and
to further their application through its activities.
