Summer 2008

ATTENTION ALL JD STUDENTS – EMPLOYMENT AND DISCLOSURE FORMS MUST BE SUBMITTED ON-LINE PRIOR TO REGISTRATION OR YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REGISTER.

There will be two Summer Terms (Sessions).
The first term begins May 12 th and ends July 23 rd. This term is 08/L3.
The second term begins July 14 th and ends August 16 th. This term is 08/L6.

When registering:
Please remember that IF the course you are registering for has variable credits (1-3 or 2-4); you must type in the appropriate amount of credits or it will default to the lowest credit available.

ON-LINE REGISTRATION DATES & START TIMES:

Current 1st Year Evening Students : The only classes you may take this summer are your two required courses: Criminal Law and Legal Writing III.  You will automatically be enrolled in these courses once your Employment and Disclosure forms have been completed and submitted on-line.

Friday, April 4th - 8:30 AM Current Day and Evening students graduating in Sept 2008 and Jan 2009

Monday, April 7th - 8:30 AM Current 3 rd yr. Evening students graduating May 2009

Tuesday, April 8th - 8:30 AM Current 2 nd yr. Day and 3 rd yr. PT Day students graduating in May 2009

Wednesday, April 9th - 8:30 AM Current 2 nd yr. Evening students graduating in Sept 2009, Jan 2010 or May 2010

Thursday, April 10th - 8:30 AM Current 1 st yr. Day and 2 nd yr. PT Day students graduating in May 2010

Students registering for Ohio State University summer courses , please come to the Office of Records & Registration for additional materials.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
[The information below does NOT apply to current 1st year evening or part-time day students.]

Under policies adopted by the Law School Council, all students who have earned less than a 2.0 cumulative grade point average may not enroll in summer school. It is recommended that prior to enrolling in summer session, a student be reasonably certain of achieving a 2.0 cumulative grade point average by the end of Spring Semester, because ANY STUDENT WHOSE CUMULATIVE GRADE POINT AVERAGE IS BELOW A 2.0 AND WHO IS ENROLLED IN SUMMER COURSES WILL BE ADMINISTRATIVELY WITHDRAWN FROM THE COURSES. Even if a Petition for reinstatement is granted, summer course work will not be recognized. Any student so withdrawn from Capital University Law School summer courses will be entitled to a full refund of summer tuition.
