Spring 2010 Registration Materials

PLEASE READ ALL REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY

As of May 1, 2009, tuition is $1074.00 per credit hour.

REGISTRATION DATES & TIMES:

4TH YEAR EVENING (Graduating May ’10): BeginningWednesday, November 4

3RD YEAR DAY (Graduating May ’10): Beginning Thursday, November 5

3RD YEAR EVENING (Graduating Jan ’11 or May ’11 ): Beginning Friday, November 6

NO ONE REGISTERS ON Saturday, NOVEMBER, 7 & Sunday, NOVEMBER 8

2ND YEAR DAY (Graduating Jan ’11 or May ’11): Beginning Monday, November 9

1ST YEAR DAY, 1ST YEAR EVENING and 2ND YEAR EVENING: students will be registered by the Office of Records & Registration for all Spring 2010 classes.

Your specific registration time slot will be e-mailed to your Capital Law e-mail account.

ACTION ITEMS:

  1. EMPLOYMENT AND DISCLOSURE FORM:

    INDIVIDUALS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REGISTER UNTIL EMPLOYMENT AND DISCLOSURE FORM HAS BEEN SUBMITTED ON-LINE PRIOR TO REGISTRATION. (You will need to login to CULSNet to complete.)

    ALL STUDENTS will be on a registration hold until these forms have been completed and submitted.

    These forms will be available online through Wednesday, October 28 th, 2009 at 6:00 p.m.
  2. ATTENTION FIRST YEAR DAY AND EVENING STUDENTS AND SECOND YEAR EVENING STUDENTS: The Office of Records & Registration will not register you until Employment & Disclosure forms have been completed and submitted.
  3. EXCESSIVE CREDIT HOURS:
    Any DAY student registered for more than 16 credit hours must seek permission from the Assistant Dean. A Dean’s Action Form must be completed before the end of the first week of classes. These forms are located in the Office of Records and Registration.

    No EVENING student may be registered for more than 11 credit hours.
  4. REPEAT COURSE:
    If you are repeating a required course, you MUST schedule it during the FIRST AVAILABLE SEMESTER. Please come to the Office of Records & Registration or email us at registrar@law.capital.edu .
  5. CHANGING DIVISIONS:
    If you have received approval to switch divisions (day to evening/evening to day) for Spring 2010, you MUST report to the Office of Records & Registration to register on the date listed above for your CURRENT (Fall 2009) status.

Students must maintain a 2.0 cumulative grade point average to remain in school.  Any student who fails to obtain a 2.0 cumulative grade point average will be academically dismissed from school.  Only those students who have obtained at least a 1.9 grade point average may petition for reinstatement.

All graduating students are responsible for meeting the basic graduation requirements which include:

All required courses, satisfaction of the perspective requirement, the upper-class writing requirement, and a total of 89 credit hours, for those who began Fall 2006 or later
