Following is the course description as contained in the Manual of Policies
and Procedures of Capital University Law School.
CONTRACTS
I AND II (3 credits each): The enforceability of agreements and
promises under the common law and applicable statutes with an emphasis
on Article 2 of the Uniform Commercial Code regarding contracts for
the sale of goods. Specific topics include consideration and promissory
estoppel, formation of agreements, the Statute of Frauds, policing agreements,
remedies for breach, performance and conditions, excuse, rights of third
parties, assignment and delegation.
