Computer Law (2 credits)

Following is the course description as contained in the Manual of Policies and Procedures of Capital University Law School.

COMPUTER LAW (2 credits): A study of law as it pertains to computers and information technology, including issues in torts (computer fraud), contracts and commercial law (licensing and other agreements), criminal law (computer viruses, theft, and other forms of computer crime), civil procedure and evidence (use of computers during discovery and at trial), intellectual property (protection through copyright, patent, trade secret, and trademark), and international transactions. Prerequisites: 600, 601, 610, 611.
