Law School.
INDEPENDENT RESEARCH PROJECT (1 to 3 credits): Significant research paper or an
independent research project under the guidance of a member of the faculty. A
student may not register for independent research until the student provides a
written proposal, tentative outline, and tentative hypothesis accepted by a
full-time faculty member. A student
may not register for more than one independent research project in a semester,
or for more than six total credit hours of independent research, without the
approval of the associate dean. Prerequisite: approval of instructor.
