CORPORATE FINANCE (3
credits): A survey of issues and principles relating to the acquisition,
accumulation and distribution of capital resources. Examination of concepts
of valuation and capital structure, legal capital, classes of securities,
corporate distributions, mergers, purchases of assets or stock, recapitalizations,
and applicability of Federal securities and tax laws. Considerations
of economic, social and political thought as they relate to corporate
finance. Prerequisites: 600, 601, 610, 611, 700, 701.
