Following is the course description
as contained in the Manual of Policies and Procedures of Capital University
Law School.
CONSTITUTIONAL LAW I AND
II (3 credits each): First semester: Federal judicial authority;
enumerated and implied powers of Congress; powers of the President;
powers of the States in areas of federal jurisdiction with an emphasis
on State regulation and taxation of interstate and foreign commerce;
intergovernmental immunities; the concept of due process and the relationship
of the Bill of Rights to the 14th Amendment; and Constitutional protection
of rights of property, business enterprise and contract. Second semester:
concept of governmental action, equal protection, Congress' power to
enforce the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments, freedom of expression,
and freedom of religion.
