946 ADVANCED BAR STUDIES (3 credits): This course
provides students with an intensive substantive review of selected legal
material routinely tested on the bar exam, and uses problems and exercises
in a bar exam format to familiarize students with techniques for answering
multiple choice (MBE) questions and analyzing, organizing, and writing
essay and multistate performance (MPT) questions. Advanced writing,
analysis, and test-taking skills are emphasized. Students are required
to conference regularly with the course instructor to review written
work and evaluate bar exam preparedness. Grading is on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory
basis. For the 2005-2006 academic year only, students whose enrollment
in Advanced Bar Studies causes them to exceed the 86 credit hours required
to graduate will not be charged for the excess credits provided the
total number of credits does not exceed 89. Prerequisite: This course
is limited to students in the last year of law school. Recommended:
