
Community ServiceThe Student Affairs Office serves the students at Capital University Law School in many capacities. We are the liaison between students and the administration; we assist student organizations, coordinate school-wide events such as orientation and graduation, and provide academic and non-academic counseling to all students. The Director of Student Services will continue to improve the exam process by recruiting new proctors, working proactively with IT, and working with the Student Services Staff to insure that the process runs smoothly. We will impress upon students the importance of serving the community by giving them opportunities to serve and providing them with the support to find their own service opportunities. We will work to create a culture of professionalism and preparation for future service on boards and as stewards of the community through workshops, leadership training, and interaction with our alumni. We will work to help student organizations run efficiently and encourage them to work collaboratively with other student organizations. This work will be done in conjunction with the CULS 2006-2010 Strategic plan, which identified the following strategies as a part of the ‘Building on our Momentum, Securing our Future’ initiative:
