Welcome to Capital University Law School’s Office of Multicultural Affairs.
Students are interested in law school for a variety of reasons and whatever your motivation may be; we are here to support you and help you to become the best practitioner that you can be. To that end the Office of Multicultural Affairs is here to provide opportunities outside of the classroom that will help make our future alumni better citizens of the world and better advocates for their increasingly diverse clientele. Our offices are here to enhance the educational experience for all students through diversity and service learning programs. Capital is dedicated to providing support to all of its students. The Law School embodies a close community of students, faculty, and administrators who support one another and who strive to be the best. Our student body includes a good balance of men and women, students of color, and students with regional roots that span the geography of the nation. The educational opportunities offered at Capital University Law School are significantly broadened through the activities of a variety of student organizations and provided in the Columbus community. Many organizations supplement the formal curriculum by providing training in the work of the lawyer and legal scholar beyond the academic experience of the classroom. Other organizations provide opportunities for those of shared backgrounds or interests to relate those concerns to their legal training and future careers. Still other organizations are valued as support groups. The Office of Multicultural Affairs is here to bring all of those varied opportunities to you. Please visit our office or contact me with any questions that you may have. |
