About the Wells Conference on Adoption Law

In light of Capital University Law School’s strong focus and dedication to adoption law, the Capital University Law Review initiated the Wells Conference on Adoption Law in 2005. We are privileged to partner with the National Center for Adoption Law & Policy at Capital University Law School each year to produce this conference. Our primary goal is to address relevant and timely adoption and family law related topics. We do so by drawing together highly renowned scholars and practitioners in the area of adoption and family issues, to present and engage each other and conference attendees in illuminating discussions. The past Wells Conferences have focused on a wide variety of topics – domestic perspectives on the adoptive process, adoption and frozen pre-embryos, and fathers’ adoptive rights.

More information will release as it becomes available.
