Spring 2010
- Reminder: All students register, obtain class schedules, grades and unofficial transcripts via WebAdvisor, Capital University Law School’s on-line student interface. WebAdvisor
- Required Forms: All students must submit the Disclosure Information form each semester they register. If you are participating in the Deferred Payment plan, you must also submit the Deferred Payment form. You may fax your forms to 614-236-6818 or mail them tothe Office of Records & Registration, 303 E. Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43215. The deadline for returning above forms is January 11, 2010. Failure to comply will result in an administrative withdrawal of your Spring 2010 courses.
- Registration Verification: After you register, you must verify your Registration by viewing your schedule on WebAdvisor. After you have registered return to the Main menu, on the right hand side, choose “View My Class Schedule.” Enter the term appropriate term (“2010 Spring Semester”)
- Adding and Dropping Spring 2010 Courses: Courses may be added/dropped via WebAdvisor as follows:
Non Intensive courses may be added until January 17, 2010 and be dropped until January 24, 2010, after which a course may be dropped only with the permission of the Graduate Law Programs Academic Director. See Financial Information page for refund details.
Intensive courses: The last day to add an intensive course is on the Wednesday prior to the course start. These courses must be droppedprior to the start of the 2 nd class meeting, after which the course may be dropped only with the permission of the Graduate Law Programs Academic Director. - Business Negotiations (LL.M students only) : This is a distance learning course taught on-line. Professor Ray will contact enrolled students prior to course start date with course specifics
- Independent Study: Independent study leading to a publishable quality research paper. You must meet with the Academic Director to discuss the feasibility of doing and independent study before completing and submitting the required Independent Research form. This form must be submitted during registration. See Independent Research form.
- Mediation Clinic (LL.M students only): There is "no" regular class time set for this course. “Classroom” sessions will be scheduled based on student availability. Professor will contact students prior to course start to arrange schedule.
- Exam Conflicts: For information regarding rescheduling exams due to personal conflicts or the ’24 hour rule click here: https://culsnet.law.capital.edu/Registrar/Forms/ExamConflictForms.asp.
- Mandatory Email Accounts: All official University communications (registration, billing, etc) are sent to each students Capital University Law School email address. Therefore all students must have, and regularly check their Capital University Law School email account.Please contact the IT department at 614-236-6432 or IT@law.capital.edu with any questions regarding your Capital University Law School email account.
- First Assignments: Each semester you can find first assignments and other preliminary course information at https://culsnet.law.capital.edu/Registrar/FirstAssignments/
- Student IDs and Parking Permits: Students without an ID, please contact Donna Garratt at 614-236-6441 or DGarrett@law.capital.edu. For parking permits please connect to the link: https://culsnet.law.capital.edu/welcome/parking.asp
