Academic Success Protocol Program

Professor Joe Bodine

The Summer 2009 Academic Success Protocol Program is full. Registrations are no longer being accepted.

Law school is like nothing you have ever experienced. It is dramatically different from the undergraduate experience and other graduate programs. Whether you come to law school directly from undergrad, or after several years (or decades) since your last educational experience, law school requires a huge adjustment. Capital’s Academic Success Protocol helps you make that adjustment.

ASP is a two-week and two-day intensive course during which you learn how to be an effective law school student. ASP Scholars are trained to use effective reading and study skills and are introduced to some of the unique aspects regarding the study of law. Students learn how to read complex cases, how to perform in class, how to take exams, how to balance life and school, and even how to shape your professional reputation.
